Data Protection Policy

Introduction

It is important to us that you as an individual feel comfortable with our processing of the personal data that comes into our possession when you do business with us. This Privacy Policy is in addition to, but does not replace, any other policies or terms and conditions established between us. We take data protection very seriously and if you have any questions about this policy or if you need answers to a specific question or topic in this regard, please feel free to contact us.

We process and store your data

The data we obtain and collect about you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”), but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be in accordance with the GDPR.

We only transfer personal data to third countries (outside the EEA) if certain conditions are met. A transfer can, for example, only take place if the EU Commission has decided that the third country in question ensures a sufficient level of protection or has given the necessary guarantees, e.g. by entering into an agreement that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the recipient of the personal data.

We take good care of your data

We protect your personal data and have adopted procedures and internal rules on information security, which contain instructions and measures that protect your personal data against unauthorized disclosure and against unauthorized persons gaining access to or knowledge of your data. To avoid data loss, we regularly back up our data sets. We also protect the confidentiality and authenticity of your data using encryption.

Your information is stored via technologically secure cloud-based solutions. There are reliable firewalls and passwords for all devices, and to the extent that the information is physically stored, it is in locked archive rooms to which only employees have access.

In the event of a security breach that results in a high risk to you of ID theft, financial loss or other significant inconvenience, we will notify you of the security breach as soon as possible.

To the extent that the information is processed by public authorities or data processors on behalf of Turbo Speed, the information is encrypted and confidential, and statutory written confidentiality agreements and data processor agreements exist.

Within the framework of the data protection rules, Turbo Speed can pass on or leave the information processed about you to business partners to the extent that this is necessary in connection with entering into and administering the leasing agreement.

We neither sell nor otherwise pass on your data to external third parties for marketing purposes.
