Questions about Delphi 28417048

Which vehicles does Delphi 28417048 fit?

Delphi 28417048 is listed for 5 vehicle versions from Hyundai and Kia, including Hyundai i20 I, Hyundai i20 II, Kia Picanto I and Kia RIO III. Many engines were built with more than one pump type, so compare the number on your pump or send us your registration and we will confirm it.

Is 33100-2A650 the same pump as 28417048?

Yes. Vehicle manufacturers use their own numbers for this pump: Hyundai 331002A650 (33100-2A650). The Delphi exchange number is HRP714.

What is the difference between reconditioned, Delphi exchange and new genuine Delphi?

All fit the same vehicles. Reconditioned is an original Delphi pump rebuilt in our workshop and tested on our own bench, supplied with its test report. Delphi exchange is a pump remanufactured by Delphi at the factory and sold under the exchange number HRP714. New genuine is an unused original Delphi pump. All carry 12 months warranty.

How does the exchange surcharge work?

Reconditioned and Delphi exchange pumps are sold on exchange. A refundable surcharge of £200 per pump is added to your order and refunded when we receive your old pump. New genuine pumps have no surcharge.

What should be checked when a high pressure pump fails?

A failed common rail pump can send metal particles into the fuel rail, pipes and injectors. Before fitting a replacement pump, the fuel system should be flushed, the filter replaced and the injectors checked. We can test your injectors on our bench and give you a report.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

Delivery is free. Fuel pumps in stock are delivered the next working day in the UK. Fuel pumps we do not hold in stock are delivered in 1-3 working days.

Can I return a pump?

Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the pump unused and unfitted for a refund; you pay the return postage. If a pump is faulty, it is covered by the 12 months warranty.

What warranty do I get?

12 months on every pump we sell.
