Will actuator 783413 fit my turbo?
Compare the number on your turbocharger label with the list on this page. If your turbo carries one of those numbers, this actuator fits it. Not sure? Send us a photo of the turbo label or your registration and we will confirm before you order.
Does the actuator need to be set up after fitting?
Yes. The actuator rod length or the electronic end positions have to match the turbo. A wrongly set actuator causes overboost or underboost faults. If you are not sure, send the turbo to us - we fit and set the actuator on our bench.
Is a failed actuator always the reason for low boost?
No. Sticking vanes, a worn turbo, a boost leak or a faulty boost pressure sensor give the same symptoms. Check the vanes move freely before you replace the actuator - if they are seized, the turbo needs reconditioning.
Can I return an actuator?
Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the actuator unused and unfitted for a refund; you pay the return postage. A faulty actuator is covered by the 12 months warranty.
