BMW turbochargers

BMW diesels are among the turbos we see most often in the workshop: the four-cylinder 2.0 diesels (M47, N47, B47) in the 1, 3 and 5 Series and the X1 and X3, and the 3.0 straight-six diesels (M57, N57, B57) in the 330d, 530d, X5 and 7 Series. On the six-cylinder 35d and 40d engines BMW uses a sequential twin-turbo system, so the small and the large turbo have different part numbers and are sold separately or as a complete set.

Reconditioned turbos are stripped, cleaned, rebuilt with new bearings and seals, balanced and tested in our own workshop, with 12 months warranty. Turbos on the shelf go out next day; others are reconditioned to order in 2-3 working days.
