BMW 5 Series turbochargers
The 5 Series diesels split into two families: the four-cylinder 2.0 diesels (518d, 520d) and the straight-six 3.0 diesels (530d, 535d). Most 530d engines run a single variable-geometry turbo, while the 535d (and some of the most powerful later 530d versions) use a two-stage twin-turbo system - each card shows whether the turbo is a single unit, the small (high-pressure) or large turbo, or the complete set.
We list 46 turbochargers for the BMW 5 Series (E12, E28, F10, F07, F11, E39, E60 and E61), built 1979-2026. 17 of them are on the shelf now. Prices from £235 inc. VAT. They are grouped below by engine - 520d, 525d, 530d, 518d, 535d, 520i, 535i and M 550d - with the power outputs and years each one fits.
Reconditioned turbos are stripped, cleaned, rebuilt with new bearings and seals, balanced and tested in our own workshop, with 12 months warranty. Turbos on the shelf go out next day; others are reconditioned to order in 2-3 working days.
