BMW 5 Series 535d turbochargers

The 535d uses a sequential twin-turbo system: a small high-pressure turbo for quick response and a large low-pressure turbo for top-end power. The two turbos have different part numbers, so check which one has failed - or replace both as a set. Each turbo page lists the exact engine codes and years it fits.

Reconditioned turbos are stripped, cleaned, rebuilt with new bearings and seals, balanced and tested in our own workshop, with 12 months warranty. Turbos on the shelf go out next day; others are reconditioned to order in 2-3 working days.
